Prime Learning Center (PLC) provides comprehensive, one-on-one guidance through every step of the college admissions process—from building a balanced college list to organizing a personalized timeline and presenting achievements effectively on applications. Our tutors have particular expertise in helping students craft compelling college essays and navigate the Common Application, used by most colleges today.
Early Action and Early Decision applicants are encouraged to begin early to meet priority deadlines, while Regular Decision applicants can gain a valuable head start by preparing in advance.

☞ Common Application Process
Our primary focus is the Personal Essay. Over two sessions (a total of four hours), our counselors guide students through brainstorming ideas, understanding key do’s and don’ts, and developing a unique, engaging essay. We also provide support for short-answer responses related to extracurricular activities and review the full application to refine all components.
