I want to register in person:

Visit our Fairfax or McLean office any weekday from 10:00am to 6:00pm to register in person during office hours, or call to schedule an appointment. You may also submit our Online Appointment Request Form.

Prime Learning Center Policy

☞ School Closures

    Prime Learning Center (PLC) follows state guidelines and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) policies regarding in-person classes. If FCPS schools close and transition to remote learning, PLC will also transition all in-person classes to live online instruction.

    We remain committed to providing the same high-quality education while prioritizing the health and safety of our community.

    Please note: In the event of a transition to live online instruction, no refunds will be issued for purchased tutoring hours.

☞ Increment Weather

    In the event of inclement weather, PLC will follow FCPS cancellation policies. All in-person classes will be converted to live online instruction.

☞ Student Performance Disclaimer

    Many factors contribute to a student’s performance on any given test. By enrolling, you agree not to hold Prime Learning Center or its employees responsible for a student’s performance outcomes in any subject.

☞ Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 5 weeks or more before the class start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 5 weeks before the class start date: 10% refund
  • No refunds will be issued after the class has begun
  • Deposits are non-refundable at all times

☞ Group Course Make-Up/Missed Classes Policy

Students will receive:

  • Lesson handouts and homework materials
  • Email support from the tutor throughout the week

If a class is missed, the following options may be available:

  • Review provided materials independently
  • Attend a scheduled group make-up session (if available)
  • Attend another class covering the same lesson (if available)
  • Purchase a private make-up session (charged at the one-on-one rate)

If you anticipate an absence, please notify us as early as possible. While we will try to arrange make-up sessions—especially for group absences due to school events—we cannot guarantee availability.

☞ 1-on-1 Tutoring Make-Up/Missed Classes Policy

  • Full payment will be charged if a session is not canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance via phone or email
  • Each one-on-one session is 2 hours long
  • If a student does not arrive within 1 hour, the session will be considered a no-show and fully charged
  • In cases of illness, a valid doctor’s note is required to reschedule at no additional cost
